S.B.T. 386

in lofty terms

words dripping from rainbows and drifting through fine mist

and water bubbles

haloes of the sun and moon

etched on tablets of marvel

drawn on chalkboards of ether

words that make noh sense

in every sense

akashic words from beyond time

burnishing from carbon to gold
coal to diamond

and back and so on

tender sprouting seedlings
pregnant words carrying quintuplets

the words we spoke as friends
